CovKidsWeb copyHowdy Parents,

Patricia Scott, Director of Children Ministries

My name is Patricia Scott and I am the Director of Children’s Ministries at Covenant. I am excited to welcome you and your child to COVKIDS, our fabulous children’s ministry program designed for children 6 weeks to fifth grade.

Our vision for COVKIDS is to provide a loving, secure, and fun environment in which children grow into the young people that God desires them to be. To accomplish this task, I hope to partner with you, the parent, to “train up your child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

If you have questions beyond what is provided here, please contact me by e-mail at patricia.scott@covenantwoodlands.org.

Blessings,
Patricia Scott
Director of Children’s Ministries

j45-web-01Welcome to Junction 45  … designed to help 4th and 5th graders connect with each other, charge their lives with God’s word, and share their spark with the world.

Fourth and fifth-graders have their own brand of energy and Junction 45 (J45) is a space specially designed for them. We start with activities that focus their attention, then move into prayer and teaching. We teach the Bible as the story of God’s rescue plan through Jesus Christ. It is our goal to assist parents in laying down a gospel-centered, Christ-saturated foundation for their kids.

J45 meets each during worship to focus on Biblical stories and topics while having tons of fun. The greatest relationship for 4th and 5th graders is their own relationship with God. We endeavor to provide solid Biblical answers to questions about who God really is and why He is important in their young lives.

Cov Kids Covenant

We want to effectively minister to you and your child. In order to accomplish this, we need to partner with you and ask that you adhere to the following.

  • All child watch areas will open 15 minutes prior to worship and will close 15 minutes after worship.
  • First-time guests need to register their children at the main COVKIDS check-in table.
  • All children must check in each Sunday at one of the three COVKIDS check-in tables to receive their identification stickers.
  • Children in watch areas will receive two stickers, one which will be placed on the back of the child and the other to be used by parents at pick up.
  • Severe allergies should be carefully communicated with childcare providers each week to make sure that all health concerns are understood.
  • Please label your child’s belongings (bottles, toys, etc). • Parents must present children into the care of a staff attendant at The Depot and The Station. For the safety of the children, only workers are allowed in the nursery areas.
  • Parents will be contacted via a cell phone text in case of an emergency or if a child cannot be soothed within 10 minutes and a parent requests to be contacted.
  • For the health of the other children, sick children should remain with their parents.
